Sorry I have neglected to blog.  I've been very busy with my Kids, trying to start a new business venture, and my facebook.  I will be coming out with a list of ideas for leagal business ventures for low income families in the next few weeks I still have a few things to research before I put it on My Sky Drive, which is accessible to all so feel free to look at what I have done so far to make a few dollars a day. You can even leave comments just please do me the favor of not changing any of the content in the file.

Sorry I have not blogged in a while but here are some of the Spells I have tried in the last 3 weeks that have worked for me.

 

I have been studying a book called Instant Magick, now dont ask me who is the author because i have not gotten to the chapter on enhanced memory spells and cannot remember the authors name.  This book is great for Wiccans and Witches who cannot always carry the tools of their Craft with them everywhere. I have tried the Instant Communication Spell, however instead of visiualizing my telephone ringing I visiualized the phone of a mutual friend ringing, I was trying to get in contact with my Sister who lives in the Bronx, NY while I live out in Jamaica Queens, NY.  The very next day I saw the friend I visiualized and she said that the night before my Sister gave her a call, to tell her that she moved Down South, and to pass me the message.  I then asked her if she remembered what time my Sister called her and she said it was arround Ten O'clock at night.  I was amazed because that was the very time that I had completed the Spell.

 

The next spell I tried out of the book was one for increased fortitude in stressfull situations, all this spell required was that I visualize myself in my safe place, or ritual space, and summon the God and Goddess asking for them to lend me their strength and wisedom, to handle the situation before me.  I should have mentioned earlier that I cannot have a physical alter or anything Wiccan other than my books in my current living situation so I have had to cast a visualized warding spell for any intruders in to my limited space while I practice my craft.  I also have to visiualize a smudging ritual every time I personally enter it because I am not the only one who has access to my space.  But getting back the spell I cast to summon the God and Goddess for my request, I also had asked the forces to lend their power to strengthen my spell, and it does work. The next day when I had to go to family court not only was I mentally prepaired to deal with the stress that the situation was going to bring, I was also able to rebound from it much better than I ever did before.  Even my attorney noticed this.

 

The third entry I am going to put here is one that use to frighten me the most before I actually understood what it was that I can do.  It seems to me that I had the untrained ability to summon visions.  Now the reason that frightened me, is because the visions have been coming to me since I was young and my family background shuns everything Occult.  But it was so strong in me that I believe I use to frighten my mother with my uncanny ability to describe places and things that I had not yet experienced or seen.  Now that I know what it is I can do I have sworn to myself, the God and Goddess that I would use my gift as long as it harms none.  Last night I went on my first intentional vision quest, I do not yet know who or what my spirit guides are but, I remember steping into the form of a tree and asking this question of the universe around me:  "Will I get my children back?"  The answer I received came in three distinctive parts.  First there was a flash of white light, followed by a second flash of purple light.  That was then followed by a flash of yellow and purple mixed, and continually inter twining.  The meaning I took away from this vision was that white can mean purity, righteousness or vindication it can also mean surrender. It was telling me that I was right to fight for my childrens sake and that I will be vindicated but I must surrender some of my hard-headedness to the courts will.  The purple represents peace, harmony, and justice.  For me this means that I must do what the courts asked without protest, in harmony of the best intentions for my childrens sake and justice will finally be served on my behalf.  The purple and yellow intertwining continually means to me that I must be patient, in working out the issues that have arrived due to the situation I am in. I am usually stuborn and harded head, as well as hot tempered, I must not let that get in the way of my end goals which are to reunite my family.  Which in the end I take to mean that if I follow the advice given iby the God and Goddess in this vision I will get my family together again.  I thanked the tree which allowed me to see my situation from an out side perspective. I then thank the God and Goddes for their advice, and grounded myself.  The vision itself was interesting and entoxicating experience, that left me in a more positive state of mind than I have been in a while.  Oh I must say I do complete my own form of bathing ritual before I work with any type of Magick. 

 

As a child I also noticed that I tend to have a green thumb so to speak, so the next ritual magick I am going to look into is called Green Witchcraft.

Just when you think life is going fine and dandy, and nothing can go wrong is when it usually does.  I've been in an NYC Shelter for about 7 1/2 months.  They claim I was not doing a damn thing to help myself. I asked how is that possible when I came into the shelter system working.  All of the other US government agencies considered myself employment a job, but the caseworkers in the shelter system said that it is off the books and that I had to get a real job.  I go get the real job and they say well now your not saving enough, so we can't help you. I try to save more, however when you have two young children (3yrs, and 1 1/2 yrs old) in ACS it is not possible to save as much as you would like.  Foster parents aren't going to buy them the things you as their natural parent feel they need and want.  Foster parents are only there for their immediate needs not the future ones. But Shelter workers act like they don't understand and are even unsensitive enough to recomend that you give them up for adoption since it seems your in a jam.  I tell all I  meet that you are only one pay check away from being homeless your damn self, so take care that you do not judge them to harsh.  YOU have no idea what circumnstances brought them to the predicament they are in, and you have no idea what will drive you out of your home, so do not say it can "NEVER HAPPEN TO ME."  For those of you going through ACS or DYFUS cases, remind your friends and family members calmly that all it takes is one phone call from the school or Doctor to have their lives turned up side down like yours. So don't get your draws in a bunch if someone gives you helpful advise, take it even if you don't feel it applies at the moment.  My family has a saying "If it don't apply, let it fly."  That doesn't mean forget it, just hold it for later.  I hope this helps whoever reads this page.

I went to the Puerto Rican Day Parade yesterday and it was beautiful.  For those of you who do not know what the Puerto Rican Day parade is all about.  It is about Puerto Ricans and really all Latino's getting together to recognize our accomplishments and the mark that we have made in the United States.  Not even 50 years ago you did not hear of a Puerto Rican Senator except if  they were actually representing Puerto Rico.  Now we have Senator's, Congressmen and women, and not to mention Judges, these were not easy accomplishments.  However, we as a people have come together to show how proud we are of those who have broken those barriers for future generations.  It is also a time to give recognition to our fallen soliders, victims of 9/11 and the like.  The parade is also  a reminder of our heritage, it is where the old and the young can come together to learn their heritage and share strength that it will never die.  As \one of Puerto Rico's anthems state: "De Puerto Rico era hasta la muerte, Soy Borniqua." It means I am from Puerto Rico until my death, I am the native.We also sang other anthems as to the meaning of our flag which I would never be able to truely translate the beauty of what it means to be a hispanic in America.  But this is also just my opinion if you want more info on hispanics in America, you should really go to your local library and see what hispanics have done in your community.  You never know you might actually be shocked by what you learn, no matter where in the world you live.

Its been along treck dealing with child protective services but I will finally get to see the light at the end of the tunnel that has bee these last two dark years.  I just hope that when I do get them back, being that they are young I will be able to make it for them as if this never happened.

I have  been pracitcing some really cool spells  to safeguard my private areas where I practice.  It has worked a lot I still have many spells to practice. But because I am not as free to work as I would like to be I have to waite until I get my own. Memorial Day was beautiful here in NYC I got to go out and practice a little while I was a way.

I've been trying to find someone to show me more about wicca in the NYC area but have had no  luck.  Most of the groups want some type of fee, at least the ones I've encountered.  I have not experienced a coven circle or Sabat since I've started taking wicca seriously 6 months ago.  Can anyone help?

I am afirming my belief in Goddes and God worship. I also have many questions for any wiccan out there. I am just starting out on my journey in wicca and have never experienced a circle or a coven engergy raising.  I have been praticing solitary, as I have seemed to always had the ability to raise the spiritual energy to use my phychic-ability.  I did not fully understand why paranormal events seemed to follow me through out my life, until I found out as an adult that I was the grand daughter of a santaria priestess.  My grand mother was one of the first paranormal events to follow me through my child hood.  she often visited us by moving chairs and furniture around, or moving pictures of herself out of their normal spaces.  other paranormal events would be my ability to for see specific events and places without ever having been there yet.  The latest was when I was pregnant with my 2 yr old son (who is my oldest).  I had a dream that I had two children and i actually saw their faces ( I did not have names for them yet, hey they weren't even born) but i knew the oldest was a boy and the youngest look like its brother.  I couldn't tell the gender in the dream.  My 2 yr old boy and his 1 yr old sister look like they should have been twins.  My son I believe is the reincarnation of my god-father.  And my daughter acts allot like an aunt of mine that passed away.
